Ashley Pater can't remember her life before music.
"My mom and I would always sing in the car together. We'd be singing Shania Twain and I'd be rocking along in my carseat," said the fourteen-year-old. "I'd always have a blast."
These days, her stage is a little more high profile than a car seat. Just this year, the Surrey teenager has played everywhere from Langley to Burnaby to White Rock.
"I want to move into performing all of my own stuff," said Ashley. "Right now I'm doing covers for fairs and such but otherwise I perform my own music."
