Langley RCMP are investigating after a man pretending to ask for directions from a woman, performed an indecent act in front of her in Langley City on Monday.

Around 3:30 p.m., a woman was walking along Fraser Highway, near NY Grill restaurant at 201 Street, when a man in a white pickup truck pulled over and asked for directions. He allegedly continued to ask the woman questions, driving forward as she tried to walk away.

The woman then realized that the man was masturbating.

She shared her story on several Facebook sites warning other women, saying, “When he saw my disgusted reaction he said, ‘Yeah, do you like this?’ and drove away.”

She took down his licence plate and reported him to the police.

Langley RCMP confirm that they have the licence plate number and are actively investigating. The man is described as Caucasian and in his 20s.

There have been no other reports of similar indecent acts recently, said Cpl. Holly Largy.
