SURREY — Surrey RCMP responded to a report of screams being heard in the 9100-block of King George Boulevard, at around 4:40 a.m. Saturday.

“Police officers attended to the area,” Surrey RCMP Staff Sgt. Murray Hedderson said in a press release.

“After speaking to witnesses, officers determined that the event was associated to one of the local motels in the area. There was initially a concern for a person’s safety, but officers have since located the person. The matter is still under investigation.”
