WALTER-HUGHES, Alice Albina. It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alice, a loving wife, mother & grandmother, on the evening of September 28, 2006. Alice went Home to Heaven to be with her beloved husband Jack and other loved ones. She was born in London, England on November 28, 1908 and lived in B.C. for over eighty years. Alice is survived by a brother, John (Dorothy), sister, Jarie and nieces and nephew, two sons Geoffrey (Grace) and Phillip (Tena), seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Oswalds Anglican Church, 96 Ave. & 190 St. in Port Kells, Surrey at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2006. Special thanks to the staff at Alouette Care - Maple Ridge and her last home, Trinity Care Centre, Penticton, B.C. In lieu of flowers, please offer donations to the B.C.
