BARKER, Allan Robert (Bob)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Allan Robert (Bob) Barker on July 11, 2008 at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria. He was born on Canada Day in Hazelton, B.C. in 1924. He always ensured the maple leaf was flying on his birthday. There are many people that will miss him deeply, especially his loving wife of thirty years, Barbara.
He is survived by sister Dora and his six children; Wendy (Jeremy) Fry, Jim (Barbara) Barker, John (Barbara)
Barker, Pam (Keath) Seeton,
Lori(James)Wilkinson and Nancy
(Gordon) Wright. His first wife, Shirley, son David and grandson Cameron predeceased him. He leaves 12 grandchildren, all of whom enjoyed their time with "Gramps" on the Saltspring farm. He also leaves one great-grandchild in Australia.
