BISHOP, Anne Patricia
March 4, 1940 - February 16, 2017
Anne passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital after battling with heart issues. Anne was born in Vancouver at St. Paul's Hospital and spent most of her life in the Lower Mainland.
Anne met the love of her life Chuck Bishop in 1970 and shared 41 wonderful years together before Chuck's passing in 2011. Anne was well known for her Blueberry Cheesecake, Stuffed Spareribs and Clam Chowder and those will be greatly missed by us all. She enjoyed being near the water but not on it.
Anne drove HandyDART for many years and truly enjoyed all the wonderful people she met. Camping, collecting driftwood and spending time travelling and visiting with family and friends were high on Anne's list.
There are so many great memories for many of us that will make us smile when recalling, her Friday visits to Tim Hortons with other family members, having dinner at Cascades Casino on Friday and frequently going to C-Lovers.
Anne will be greatly missed by her children: Rhonda, Ken (Johanne), Mark (Lisa), Ed, Art; bonus children: Diane (Gord), Carol (Peter), Bill (Deb), Donna (Morris), K.C. (Donna); 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her in-laws: Helen (Lorne ), Harry, Myrle (Les), Merrilee (Larry), Darryl (Derek) Anne was predeceased by her husband Chuck, her parents, and in- laws Harold and Ina, brother Bill and grandson Chris.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Langley Memorial and Surrey Memorial for the wonderful care the last 4 months. Celebration took place Saturday February 25, 2017.
We take comfort in knowing that mom has finally been reunited with dad and will continue their travels together.
