Art, age 97 was predeceased by his first wife, Dorothy of 48 yrs. Survived by his 2 sons Verne & Terry, 3 daughters Arlene Ulland, Sheri MacGregor, Wendy Hein, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Also 2nd wife of 23 yrs, Gladys, 2 stepsons Bryon & Glenn Mageau and their families. Beforeremarrying and relocating to Abbotsford, Art & Dorothy raised their children on the family farm in Fleetwood, Surrey. After retiring from 35 yrs longshoring in 1973, he expanded his love for horses, raising professional standardbreds. He was well known at Cloverdale raceway for his horses many winnings in the U.S. and on the Western Canada Circuit. As well as the BCSA, Art was longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, Foresters and Life member of F.O.E.
