HOLTHE, Arthur Louis, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2007 at age 100, with his daughter Jean and family at his side. From Cowboying on the Prairies to construction on the Workers Iron Memorial Bridge to milking cows on his dairy farm he worked hard all his life. Retired from the Surrey School Board, Art enjoyed travelling with his wife Esther until her passing in 1994. He continued travelling including backpacking around New Zealand and Australia at age 89. He also enjoyed playing crib with his many friends from the Cloverdale Horseshoe Club and Senior Centre. A farewell gathering will be held in his home which he loved so much, filled with family and friends on March 2nd. He will be greatly missed and always remain in our hearts. We love you.
