SCIOG, Bernice Elizabeth - It is with sadness the family announce that Bernice Elizabeth, born September 10, 1939 in Kelliher, Sask., passed away peacefully June 1, 2010 in Vancouver, BC at the age of 70 years. Predeceased by her daughter Bernadette, 2 grandchildren, 4 sisters, and 1 brother. Survived by 3 sons, 1 daugher, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, 1 brother and many relatives and friends. Bernice spent countless hours volunteering throughout the community and her church. Her presence will be greatly missed by those organizations she was involved with. A Funeral Mass was held on Sat. June 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Parish, 16079 - 88th Avenue, Surrey, BC. Prayers were said on Sunday June 6, 2010. A Funeral Mass followed on Monday June 7 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vladimir's Parish in Kelliher, Sask. Burial took place at the Model Farm Sacred Heart Church Cemetery, Sask. The family has requested donation be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. May she join her Heavenly Kingdom on the wings of an Angel.
