DIXON, Betty Clara of Surrey B.C. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Shirley Dean Pavilion Hospice in Surrey B.C. after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. Betty was 75 years old. Predeceased by her loving husband William. Those left to treasure her many memories are her 3 sons Robert, John, (Cathy) Brad, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as many other family and dear friends.
Betty will be missed by all she was a loving and generous mother, grandmother and friend. Betty was very active in her Church, most recently, the Johnston Heights Church in Surrey B.C. Betty was very strong in her faith and her commitment to the Lord and was most happy when she was glorifying God by serving others.
Cremation will be under the direction of Avalon Surrey Funeral Home Surrey B.C. A memorial service will be held at the Johnston Heights Church 9612-152 Street, Surrey B.C. at 1:00 p.m. April 19, 2008.
