GILBERT, Carla Lorraine. Passed away peacefully with her children by her side on January 3, 2008, at the age of 84 years. She is predeceased by her husband Patrick Edgar and will be sadly missed by her loving children; Patricia (Steve), Ron (Laura), Roger (Lori-Ann). Nana will be missed by her cherished grandchildren, Steve (Moira), Patrick (Cheryl), Norm (Danielle), Trina (Charlie), April (Derek), Grant, and Wyatt and great grandchildren Taylor, Ryland, Nicholas, Carra, Karl, Keye, Calob, and Dillyn. Carla affectionately known as “Hackie” will be missed by her brothers and sisters, Pauline, Kay (Bob), Hugh (Fran), Val (Jim), Ken (Madeline), Ray (Elaine), Carol (Ray) and many other family and dear friends. A special thank you to Mom’s family physician Dr. Don McDonald. Thank you to the wonderful caring staff and Dr. Cass at the Surrey Memorial renal unit, and staff at Mom’s home Cedar Hill Center. A celebration of her life will be held at the Orangewood clubhouse, 21937- 48th Avenue, Langley on Sunday, January 13, 2008 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
