HARDY, Catherine Martha Hardy (Nee: Ward) – Died peacefully in her sleep on July 11, 2005 at the age of 76. Catherine farmed for over 45 years alongside her husband on their dairy farm in Cloverdale. Prior to marriage, Catherine was a model and hairdresser. Predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years, Lincoln Thomas Hardy (L.T. Hardy) ; sister, Gertie Quayle. Lovingly remembered by her family: son, Jim of Rosedale; daughters, Lora-Lee Hardy (Marvin) of Ontario, Shawneen (Clayton) Edwards of Chilliwack and Kathleen Hardy of Cloverdale. Grandma was always so proud of her grandchildren: Ryan, Alanna, Blake and Ashlee. Remembered by: brother, Jim Ward; sisters, Mabel Ferguson, Gladys Hardy, Merle McFarlen, Lorna Simon and Colleen Amond; numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine will always be missed and fondly remembered by the people in her life who were fortunate enough to truly know this exceptionally wonderful woman. No formal services will be held by request.
