Chalmers Emery BEAUCHAMP

September 16, 2006

BEAUCHAMP, Chalmers Emery born June 23, 1915, Ste Annes Illinois USA to Reverend Peter and Perside Beauchamp. Survived by the love of his life Ruth of 67 years; Peter (Randi) South Surrey; Kathryn (Hans) St. Maartens; Jane Richmond. Five grandchildren Trevor (Barbara); Denver (Lynette); Tanya (David); Erika (Julien); Kevin (Heidi). Eight grandchildren, Julianne, Samantha, Gus, Markus, Pascal, Pilar, Martin, and Lynden; and sister Estelle Ide of Ottawa, Ontario.

Chalmers (Cham) served in the RCAF as a radio technician at Rockcliffe, Ontario. He began his business career with BF Goodrich in Montreal and worked in Kitchener and London. He transferred to Vancouver in 1962 as District Manager. A transfer back to Kitchener in 1969 proved to Cham and Ruth how much they loved the Westcoast and he took an early retirement to return and sell real estate in the White Rock area. He was actively involved in church and community work and was an avid lawn bowler later coaching visually impaired bowlers. He enjoyed motorhoming in Arizona, cruises, trips to Alaska and Maui. But most of all he enjoyed family gatherings gardening, long drives in the country, picnics by the river and the greenness of trees. God bless you and keep you for me.

Contributions to St Johns Presbyterian Church greatly appreciated.
