DENNIS LESLIE SMITH
Born in London, England, January 24, 1923. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, January 31, 2005. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Beryl, sons Brian (Joanne), Glenn (Donna), David (Eva), daughters Leslie (Glenn), Laura (Gordon), grandchildren Jolene (Darren), Erin, Kelly, Matthew, Kristy, Cory, Robert, Robyn, and William, great granddaughter, Madeleine, brother John, sister-in-law Joan, as well as nieces and nephews in Canada and England. Predeceased by his grandson Aaron and sister Doris. He served in the RAF from 1940 to 1947 and was a strong union man with the IBEW local 213 for over 50 years. A memorial service will be held at Sharon United Church, 21562 Old Yale Road, Langley, on Wednesday, February 9, at 1:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Dennis to the charity of your choice. He is greatly missed by all his family and friends.
