Don Inkster passed away suddenly on

August, 23, 2006 at the age of 55 in Dawson Creek, B.C. where he was working at building roads. He is predeceased by his parents Donald and Rosemarie.

He is lovingly missed by his wife

Stephanie (Legault), his son Ian (Andrea) Inkster (Avery & Camdyn), his daughters Kari (Chad) Hartle, Mary (Rylee) Davis (Kennedy & Aspyn), Beckie (Legault) and Bryce Dixon (Mackenzie & Dawson), and his brother Alvin (Anne) Nickel.

Donald grew up in Fruitvale, B.C. then moved to the lower mainland and settled in Surrey where he was a longterm resident.

He was in the scrap business for many years then became a welder. He liked to

fix trucks and that brought him to his more recent career of Class 1 Truck Driver.

He was adept at solving mechanical problems often using unconventional means. He built a new tow truck out of old and rebuilt parts. Don loved camping, canoeing and exploring B.C.

He was proud of his Metis Heritage and Scottish Ancestry.

He will be remembered for his good sense of humour, his friendliness and willingness to help others.
