Doris passed away peacefully at St. Jude's Anglican Home on Friday April 27th. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Frank, and by her sister Mildred Emmett. She is survived by her six children Jean(Karl)Chizeck, Ron, Marion Crook, Margaret (Ray) Pederson, Bob (Mary), Trish Williams (Bruce Byfield), thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, her nephew Dennis (Margaret) Emmett and many cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Frank and Doris led full and active lives. They loved to entertain and they loved to travel. They raised their family in Cloverdale where they were active members of both the Catholic Church and the local community. Doris maintained a strong, loving interest in her family and their welfare all her life. The family gratefully extends many thanks for the care and compassion shown by the staff at St. Jude's.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 11:00 am at the Precious Blood Catholic Church in Cloverdale, 17475- 59th Ave.
In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to Canadian Food for Children, BC Division, 3218 224th Street, Langley, BC V2Z 2G8.
