STOJAK, Frank

Frank (Francis) Stojak passed away peacefully on Dec. 12, 2016. He was 95.

Frank is survived by his sister Jean Kushner, daughter Pamela (and Gary) Lokken, son Patrick (Dianne), son Peter (Gabie), and son Paul (Margie). Frank's grandchildren Jadene, Jeff, Erica, Chris, Casey, Nicola and Ken are responsible for 8 great grandchildren. Dorothy, his wife, died in 2008, and brothers William in 1951 and Steven in 1982.

Frank was born on 10-Nov-1921 in Regina, Saskatchewan to Nellie and Andrew Stojak, Ukrainian immigrants. He graduated from Scott Collegiate in 1937, and married Dorothy, his high school sweetheart, on 27-Dec-1945 after serving in the Canadian Army. He worked at Sears for nearly 40 years, and was active in St. Luke's Church and the American Management Association. Frank and Dorothy moved to Surrey in 1982 to be closer to family and joined St. Helen's Church.

Dad is remembered for his faith in God, his deep love for Mom and for his love of family. He stressed and modeled hard work, a good education and service to country and maintained his good humour always.

Be at peace with the Lord, Dad.
