Henk van Hemmen passed away peacefully in the presence of his beloved wife Fem (nee Bergman) at the age of 89 at Laurel Place Hospice in Surrey, British Columbia. Beloved Husband, Father and Grandpa, Henk is also survived by his four children; John (Heather), Shirley (Brian), Charles (Teresa) and Harry (Selina) and nine wonderful grandchildren; Michael, Emily, David, Bryann, Jonathon, Cayley, Cameron, Taryn and Avril. His death will leave a void in the lives of all who knew him.
The internment will be at Chilliwack Little Mountain Cemetery 10:00am in Chilliwack, BC, Monday, December 8,
2008. A Memorial service is to follow at Fleetwood Christian Reformed Church 9165 160th Street, Surrey, BC 2:00pm on the same day.
