EVANS, Hilda Francis was born in Macklin, SK in 1925 and grew up on the family farm. She worked in Saskatoon and Edmonton for many years, where she met her husband, Earl. They moved to Surrey in 1955, where she loved her home and garden. Mom was an extremely hard worker and her sharp wit and humour will be missed by all. Hilda passed away on February 24, 2009. Hilda was predeceased by her husband, Earl in 2003 and one brother and two sisters. Left to cherish her memory is her son, her daughter-in-law and grand- daughter. A Celebration of Hilda's Life will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 - 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 11:00 am. Memorial tributes in memory of Hilda could be made to the Surrey Hospital Foundation.
