Islay MACNAUGHTON

September 2, 2005

MACNAUGHTON: Islay Elizabeth (nee Terhune) born in Rossland, B.C., on June 25, 1915, the youngest of George William and Anna Jessie (Moffat) Terhune's 6 children. Islay went home to the arms of the Lord in White Rock, B.C., on September 2, 2005, aged 90 years.

Islay was predeceased by her loving husband Dan (1966), infant daughter Martha Jean, grandson Kevin and siblings Lorne, Stuart, Ross, Jean and Roger Terhune. Her steadfast love and gentle guidance will be missed by her five daughters: Betty (Ernest) Baja, Diane (Lorne) Ginther, Marg (Larry) Wensley, Kathie (Ernest) VanDresar and Donna (Brian) Caldbeck; her thirteen grandchildren: Dan, Michael, Jody, James, Mac, Patrick, Colleen, Kelly, Pat, Maralee, Lorrie, Jason and Vicki; her twenty-four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family extends sincere thanks for their professional and compassionate care to the staff of Finlay Pavilion, First floor, to Dr. Larry Darby and to Rev. Willem van der Westhuizen of St. John's Presbyterian Church, White Rock. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Islay's life at a funeral service and reception at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, September 9, 2005 at Boal Chapel on 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver.

A memorial service will be held at Finlay Pavilion in White Rock in the coming weeks for Islay's friends and neighbors.
