EZZY, Jordan Alexander

Jordan Alexander Ezzy born July 10th 1987 graduate of Sullivan Heights Secondary with honors, member of school council and high school rugby team, enjoyed playing football in the VMFL teams and windsurfing in Maui. It was in China that Jordan developed his skills as a storyteller, observer and interest in politics relating his travels by email to friends and family. He reveled in the contradictions he found in the local culture and with his fellow expatriates. He experienced deep compassion when confronted by poverty. Loved by his ESL students in China he astonished himself as he became comfortable with mandarin eventually translating for friends. He enjoyed the challenge of university where he was rewarded with an invitation for further studies in the mathematics department. Jordan was optimistic during the two years of leukemia treatment. Jordan died on October 2nd, 2008. Survived by parents Deborah and Robert, brother Tyler and sister Chelsea, Grandfathers Al Ezzy and Roy McKimmie, cousins, aunts and uncles. Donations to Salvation Army. Celebration of life 1:00pm, October 10th at Morgan Creek Golf Course.
