Ken VAN CAMP

September 30, 2005

VAN CAMP, KEN 1950-2005 Sadly, during the sunset of the autumn equinox, the curtain closed. Ken Van Camp, 54, exited stage left after a great run. The result of collaboration between Major Harold and Ada Van Camp, his co-stars were his sister Beth and brother Richard. During Act II he was joined on stage by his wife Lynette, and in 1981 Act III saw the debut of his favourite leading lady, his daughter Miranda. The production included a cast of thousands of drama students, whose lives he touched and whose dreams he inspired. Supporting roles were shared by his golfing and poker buddies, best friends since 1967. Comic relief was provided by his four nephews. The final opportunity for a standing ovation will be held at the auditorium of South Delta Secondary School, 750-53rd Street, Tsawwassen, Saturday Oct.1, 2005 at 1pm. In Lieu of flowers, please consider contacting the school and donating to the theatre scholarship created in his memory at (604) 943-7407
