MEYER: Leander. It is with great and everlasting sorrow that we announce the passing of Leander Meyer on June 6, 2005. Lea is survived by his loving wife Anne, his 2 step-sons, 7 step-daughters, their families, grand and great-grandchildren. Lea is also survived by his 3 sisters and 4 brothers, living throughout Saskatchewan and Ontario. After many years of service, Lea retired from Pacific Elevator in 1983. Lea took great pride in staying active, volunteering with Legion activities. He will be dearly missed by many friends, both at the Whalley Legion and his RVing buddies. Friends and family are invited for the celebration of Lea's life to be held at the Whalley Legion, #229 13525 - 106 Avenue, Surrey, B.C. from 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. on June 10th, 2005. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lea's memory can be made to Surrey Memorial Hospital or Whalley Legion Branch 229 would be appreciated.
