She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mable Ramage and by her husband William, daughter Irene and infant son. Mable is survived by her brother Ben and many extended family members and countless friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A loving wife and mother and cherished friend, Mable will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, her compassion and her willingness to help others. A long-time resident of Newton, Mable had many interests during her life. She was well-known for her outstanding talents at gardening, baking, card playing, knitting, quilting and fishing, to name but a few. As per Mable’s wishes, there will be no formal memorial service.
