ROMANIUK, MERLIN
April 13, 1923 - March 26, 2008
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and dear friend.
He leaves his wife after 54 years of marriage, Nancy. Daughter Cathy Ann (Peter), son Ron (Nic), grandchildren Kelsey and Jay Jefferson, Alyx and Bailey Romaniuk and Aurielle and Miranda Cyre. Sisters Pauline (Nick) Nadurak, Emily Bochon.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Anna, his brothers Michael, William and Peter, and sisters Mary, Stella, Olga, Justine and Nancy.
Merlin was a true gentleman and a role model for all of us. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Laughter, he said, was the best medicine and he could always find the funny side of any situation.
Family and friends were very important to him. He was the happiest when we were all together eating, drinking and telling stories.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 31st at 10:00am at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14644-72nd Avenue, Surrey, BC.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
