Passed away peacefully at the extended care unit of Langley Memorial Hospital on February 18th, 2006 with his wife of 46 years at his side. Predeceased by his brothers August and Herb and his sister Elzine. He is missed by his wife Gertrude his daughter Jasmine-lee(Bob) his son Kevin (Kelly), brother Walt (Ruth) sisters Hertha and Agnes, and grandchildren Charlee, Sunni, and Jessicca.
Paul was born on October 29th, 1919 to his parents Ottilia and Adolf in Kamoinka, Poland. The family came to Canada in 1926 and settled in Leduc, Alberta. He was working at Edmonton General Hospital when he met Trudy. After a long courtship they were married in 1959. They moved to B.C. and settled in Surrey to raise their family. They adopted Jasmine-lee in 1961 and Kevin in 1964. They lived in Surrey until they moved to Walnut Grove in 2004. Paul worked most of his life in the construction industry before he retired from B.C. Hydro. He built many homes and condominiums in Alberta and B.C.
Funeral services will be held at ValleyView Memorial Gardens, 14660 72nd Ave. Surrey, B.C. on Monday, February 27th at 2 pm.
