Stanley BILINSKI

BILINSKI: Stanley, passed away peacefully on September 8th, 2006 at Surrey Memorial Hospital. He was born in Brandon, MB on June 18, 1921. Predeceased by his wife Gwendolynne (Bunny), his brother Rudy and his companion Grace. He is lovingly remembered by his sister Florence (Bruce) MacLeod of Winnipeg; his son Barry and companion Rose; his daughter Carol and husband Gord; daughter-in-law Linda, and grandchildren Jennifer, Jordan, Katie and Jessica Bilinski and Brian and Melanie Cooper and many nieces and nephews. Stan served in WWII in the Signal Corps. and did a tour in Europe. After the war, Stan worked for the CN Railway for 13 years. He then worked for Canada Post in Brandon and moved to B.C. in 1967. He retired in 1982 after 23 years. A Veteran’s Service is to be held on Friday, September 29th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 – 28th Ave., South Surrey, B.C. (on King George Highway). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
