Surinder Singh Sangha

1952 - 2009

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, uncle, brother and friend, Surinder Singh Sangha. Surrounded by family and prayer, Surinder Singh passed away peacefully on January 21, 2009.

A life dedicated to family and helping others is how our dad lived. His endless energy, sense of humor and warm smile is what we will cherish most.

Our father's life journey began in Delhi, India in 1952. As a child he & his family immigrated to England, where he grew up and married. Dreams of making a better life brought our father to Canada over 35 years ago, living first in Vancouver, and then Surrey.

Surinder Singh worked for 25 years as an electro-plater and silversmith and in recent years worked in the trucking industry.

Surinder Singh's commitment to his siblings, wife, children, nieces and nephews was unmatched. He loved all equally with all his heart. He worked hard his entire life, providing any and everything his family needed and desired. We are indebted to him for his countless sacrifices and are humbled by his devotion.

A wonderful man, who always had great advice to give. Surinder Singh knew how to entertain a room with a timely joke or a witty story and was just as at ease in the kitchen, preparing incredible meals with much love.

His dear wife the late Parmjeet Kaur predeceases Surinder Singh. He is survived by his grateful son, Sukhwinder Singh, and loving daughter, Sharon Kaur, and is forever remembered by the Dhaliwal and Bajwa Families.

Surinder Singh's memory is evermore alive in our hearts and we will endeavor to fulfill his unfinished dreams. We pray with humility to God to grant our father the rest and everlasting peace he so rightly deserves and has earned. We will miss you Daddy Ji.
