In loving Memory of VERLE CLIFFORD PARISH


It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Verle. Surrounded by his loving family, Verle passed away in Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, New Brunswick on March 28, 2017 at the age of 71.

He is survived by his wife Sandy of 44 years, cherished daughters Carley (Michel) and Jody (Tavis), and mother-in-law Rose Loewen. Also missed and forever in our hearts, siblings Vera (Grant), Vern (Nida), Gary, Ron, Dona, and Debbie, nieces and nephews, Sheldon, Tony (Susan), Taral, Adil (Jessica), Cameron, Adam (Lucia), Darren (Tabitha), Chris (Lynsey), Angelina, Becky (Gurg), and great nieces and great nephews, as well as many close friends. He was predeceased by his mother Lillian and father John Parish. In his youth Verle was active in football, basketball, hockey and golf. In the prime of his life he was a good avid golfer. After a lengthy career as a Manager in the lumber industry in the Lower Mainland he retired to New Brunswick.

He continued his interest in all sports, enjoyed cribbage, festive game planning and delighted in fine dining. He also enjoyed relaxing in a big yellow chair on the dock by the cottage. Verle will be remembered most for his love of family.

A celebration of Life will be held at the home of brother Ron Parish, in Coquitlam on Saturday,

May 13th 2017.
