The Peter Legge International Institute for Sales Excellence at Douglas College is flying a little higher thanks to a $10,000 gift from Falcon Equipment, located in Surrey.
The Sales Institute is a new program at the college that gives students the vital skills to be a sales professional who can win, grow and retain business and produce results.
Douglas College is the only college in B.C. specializing in sales training, with courses in Professional Selling Skills, Dealership Financial Services, and Selling to Generation X, Y and Zoomer.
“The Peter Legge Sales Institute provides much needed training for sales professionals, and Falcon Equipment is proud to support Douglas in this unique training program.” says Wayne Arondus, COO at Falcon Equipment.
“Proper skills training for all trades and industries is extremely important in light of the looming job shortage, labour shortage this province will experience in the coming years,” says Arondus. “If you don’t have the proper education, you’re going to take a back seat to the competition.”
