TV host, comedian and actor Adam Carolla of The Man Show fame will be making a sweet summertime sipper respectable for guys everywhere.

He’s appearing at noon this Saturday at Clover Crossing Liquor Store at 64 Avenue and 176 Street, where he’ll be meeting with fans and signing bottles of his new brand, Mangria, a concoction borne of necessity.

“As a nightly consumer of red wine, I was shocked one evening to find I had just half a glass left in the bottle,” he relates, explaining he did what any “decent alcoholic, ex-con, American would do”.

“I went to the fridge and the liquor cabinet, then poured, mixed and measured. Thus, Mangria was born.”

He started making it from home, and enjoying it with friends, and realized others might like it too.
