Dealership’s test drive event raises $2,020 for Surrey school’s dry grad

SURREY — Test driving a new car is usually fun but when you know your test drive supports a good cause, it’s even better.

On Oct. 18, Barnes Wheaton GM South Surrey held the “Drive For Your Students” test drive event at Earl Marriott Secondary school.

For every test drive that was taken from friends, family and co-workers, Barnes Wheaton donated $20 to the school’s dry grad fund. In total, the event had 101 test drives, which raised $2,020.
