A Newton resource agency is inviting the public to join in on a march against homelessness.
Sources Newton Resource Centre is hosting the 8th Annual Homelessness Awareness March on Oct. 18.
The day begins at 10:30 a.m. with registration, and will be followed by a keynote address at 11 a.m.
The march commences at 11:20 and returns to Sources, at 102-13771 72 A Avenue at noon.
Donations are welcome, including books of bus tickets, new winter socks, new blankets, non-perishable foods and cash.
