SURREY — There were smiles aplenty when former classmates held a 50th reunion celebrating their schooling at McLeod Road Elementary.
Several people got together June 21 to celebrate long friendships.
"Most of those in the picture started grade one together 50 years ago, in 1964, and attended McLeod Road between 1964 and 1970," said event organizer Arlene Laing, who lives in Surrey.
