New Westminster's Tara Matthews (bottom) – escorted by her dog Daisuki – was one of about 400 volunteers who came to glean thousands of pounts of squash and other produce at God's Little Acre Farm in South Surrey on Feb. 17.

The farm, run by Jas Singh, who made the call for volunteers last week, donates its produce to the Surrey Food Bank and other regional food banks.

Volunteers are still needed on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 16582 60 Ave.
