About 250 participants took part in the third-annual Run, Walk and Roll in memory of Laura Szendrei at Burnsview Secondary School on Sunday, Oct. 6. Money raised at the event will go to scholarships in Szendrei’s name.
The man who pleaded guilty to killing the North Delta teen in 2010 will be sentenced by a judge on Oct. 18.
