Animated films in focus at annual events held every August

SURREY — The Movies Under the Stars series kicked off Saturday evening (Aug. 6) with a screening of “Minions” at Holland Park.

The annual event is staged by Downtown Surrey BIA in partnership with several companies and organizations.

The month’s weekly outdoor movie series continues with “Inside Out” on Aug. 13, “Big Hero 6” on Aug. 20 and “Zootopia” on Aug. 27.
