Bantam Rebels win provincials

SURREY – The Surrey Rebels Bantam A2 lacrosse team are provincial champions.

 

Hailing from one of the smaller minor lacrosse associations in B.C., the team fought its way to first in the provincials in Kelowna from July 15 to 19.

 

The team, comprised of players 13 and 14 years old, was lead by head coach Braden Wilkins and assistant coach Trent Evans.

 

Goaltender Ryder Bremner was named to the tournament All-Star Team and was named

 

tournament MVP.

 

Keenan Martin received a Fair Play Award for his play in the tournament.
