- Mike Lalonde, President

Taking care of all aspects of a landscaping project is Blue Pine Enterprises' trademark.

Transforming the plans for a site's landscaping into a living vision is a big job. There's fencing, irrigation, softscape and hardscape to consider, which require multiple trades and specialists. Blue Pine Enterprises makes the task easier by delivering the right crew for the job to ensure it's done right.

President, Mike Lalonde, has been in the business for a long time, starting Blue Pine in 2000 after a decade learning the trade. His company employs 110 people including nine project managers with a collective 200 years experience, and many specific trade experts.

"We work with commercial and government clients who have their architect's plans and are ready to get the process moving," Mike noted. "The key benefit we bring is we have crews that specialize in fencing, irrigation, softscape and hardscape. Other companies have to subcontract or can only take on one or two areas, we do it all."

Blue Pine's clients include road builders, commercial general contractors and other commercial builders. Many of which have chosen the diverse company for their landscaping needs for more than 10 years because of the ability to take on all aspects of  landscape construction.

"It's about long term relationships," Mike said. "We have some of the best customers we could ask for and some of the best employees we could ask for. We believe we can run a business around fairness, honesty, good work and treating others with respect."

With Blue Pine Enterprises, every landscape project gets the specialization needed and the confidence that comes from knowing the job will be done right.

Clearview grinding

Clearview Grinding does more than quality demolition; they also ensure materials are recycled for everyone's benefit.

Clearview Grinding may sound like an odd name for a demolition company and president Mike Lalonde agrees.

"We started in land clearing," he said. "Turns out it wasn't a good idea, but now we are this great demolition company."

Clearview is a large-scale "full-service" demolition firm, operating in Western Canada, with 40 "“ 50 employees.

"We work with the commercial, government and private sectors," Mike said. "Schools, warehouses, mills, we do those bigger scale buildings."

More than demolition, Clearview's Hazmat teams are all trained in low, medium and high risk asbestos abatement. Plus, the sites are always approached with an eye to being green through recycling.

"Everything is separated," Mike noted. "The concrete is crushed and reused, wood is ground up and used by other businesses, metal is sold to a metal recycler. We recycle over 90% of any demolition project."

With the right people for the job in the right trades using the right systems, Clearview is focused on ensuring the end result is the best it can be.

"We treat our employees better than most and get a better return from them in terms of quality work and retention," said Mike. "Plus, the best thing is when you keep employees happy, they keep customers happy and that's our goal."

A proven track record and the ability to provide recycling and asbestos abatement are just a few of the reasons Clearview Grinding is the best choice for demolition.
