Can you design a poster to promote environmental sustainability in our community?
The Delta Youth Environmental League and Delta School District are calling all students in Delta from kindergarten to Grade 12 to be creative and design posters tackling sustainability.
The categories in the Design a Green Sign Contest are Energy Management, Waste Management and Water Conservation.
Contestants are encouraged to be creative in designing an eye-catching poster with emotional appeal.
The contest is open Sept. 1 to Oct. 25.
Winners will receive a $400 gift card to South Shore Cycle and their posters will be displayed throughout the community in the months to follow.
Energy Management posters will be displayed throughout December, Waste Management posters will be displayed throughout January 2015, and Water Conservation posters will be displayed in May 2015.
