The Salmon Habitat Restoration Program (SHaRP) and Financial CAD Corporation (FINCAD) joined efforts last week to both build employee relationships and benefit the environment.
The event took place in Surrey City Centre at 100 Avenue and Whalley Boulevard.
Throughout the day, invasive species were cleared from the site and 140 native trees and shrubs were planted along the headwaters of Quibble Creek, which provides important rearing habitat for Surrey’s salmon.
