Delta reopens parks thanks to cooler weather

NORTH DELTA – Delta has reopened to the public four popular North Delta parks it had closed earlier in July due to hazardous fire conditions.

Thanks to cooler temperatures and recent rain, Delta Fire and Emergency Services has downgraded the fire danger rating from extreme to moderate. As a result, Watershed Park, Cougar Canyon Nature Reserve, North 40 Park Reserve and the Delta Nature Reserve are now open to the public.
