SURREY - A Delta Police car collided with a vehicle in Surrey, with a pregnant woman and a toddler inside, on Friday.
The cruiser was responding to an assault in the area when the officer T-boned a Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Scott Road and 80th Avenue at 3:45 p.m.The driver of the Corolla was turning left as the cruiser came through the intersection without its flashing lights or sirens on.The woman and the toddler were taken to Surrey Memorial Hospital and were released a couple hours later. There were no injuries to the officer.
