Five fun movies at Holland Park

WHALLEY - Five fun films will be shown during the Movies Under the Stars series at Holland Park this summer.

The 11th annual event, staged by the Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association, will fill the park with movies every Saturday evening in August. Admission is free.

The BIA credits Prospera Credit Union for its financial support in the expanion of this year's MUTS series to five nights, as part of Prospera's B.C.-wide Cinema Under the Stars summer film series.

"Wreck-It Ralph" kicks off the series on Aug. 1, followed by "Home" on Aug. 8, "How to Train Your Dragon 2" on Aug. 15, "Cinderella" Aug. 22 and "Big Hero 6" on Aug. 29.

Each movie begins at dusk, but arrive early for family-friendly activities and watch performances by local entertainers. Staff from Prospera Credit Union will be handing out popcorn (by donation to Surrey Christmas Bureau).
