Honouring Amanda in Surrey

Friday's candlelight vigil attracts hundreds to Holland Park.

Hundreds of people attended a candlelight vigil in Surrey’s Holland Park on Friday evening to pay their respects to Port Coquitlam teen Amanda Todd and other victims of bullying.

Todd, 15, committed suicide  two weeks ago after posting a video online detailing the relentless harassment she had endured.

Vigils were held around the world Friday. Surrey’s was organized by the newly formed group Global Girl Power.
