SURREY – RCMP were called to a home in the 19400-block of 32nd Avenue in Surrey around noon on Sunday.

Upon attendance, police located a woman sustaining life-threatening injuries. She was then airlifted to a hospital by BC Ambulance Service.

As of Sunday evening, the woman was reportedly on life support in hospital and IHIT had taken conduct of the investigation.

A man is in custody who is related to the incident, said Sgt. Bari Emam of IHIT.

IHIT could not be r ached before deadline for comment.
