According to the RCMP, Surrey (and other parts of B.C.) are said to need more police officers on the job.
Meanwhile, there are, at any one time, between 100 and 150 police in overseas training jobs also, on their website, according to the RCMP. These are good jobs with tax-free bonuses, living and travel expenses and career boosts.
However, the Mounties have a contract with the people of B.C. to provide services, and since these officers are trained, experienced and on the payroll, why not bring them back here, now? Canada first.
