SOUTH SURREY â€” MP Ralph Goodale is in Surrey next week to talk about the economy.
The deputy federal Liberal leader and former Canadian finance minister is taking part in an open forum on Tuesday, March 11 hosted by the South Surrey-White Rock Liberal Riding Association that starts at 7:30 p.m. The event is called "Strong Middle Class, Strong Economy: A conversation with Hon. Ralph Goodale, MP."
According to event organizers, "In the last 30 years, Canada’s economy has doubled in size, while the average middle class family income has only risen by 13 percent. It’s time to talk about the future of Canada’s economy and how to create economic growth for the middle class."
He will be at the Pacific Inn Conference Centre and the discussion will focus on economic growth and prosperity for the middle class, the impacts of Conservative Partyâ€™s economic policy and the recent federal budget.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Pacific Inn Conference Centre is at 1160 King George Blvd. and everyone is invited to take part.
