Zerelli's Sandwich Shop will be one of several food trucks on site for the first ever Clayton Night Market.

A new market will light up the Clayton night this summer.

Starting tonight (May 30), the new Clayton Night Market will host its first of five Friday summer dates in 2025.

A post on Discover Surrey's Facebook page says the market is being put on the same group who runs the Clayton Market.

“Surrey's newest way to enjoy those longer summer nights with food trucks, local shopping, live entertainment, and a beer garden,” the post reads. “All in one fun, family-friendly spot.”

The night market has free entry and is dog-friendly.

The post notes “what to expect” at the first market on May 30.

“Indulge in hearty sandwiches from @zerellissandwichshop, plant-based comfort food from Veg Out Plant Based Burgers & Shakes, bold Korean fusion eats from Mashiko Food Truck, and more.”

There will be local beer offerings from the Greater Vancouver Beer Truck along with many local vendors, of course, selling a variety of goods.

The night market will also host live entertainment each night. On May 30, there’ll be a Moana and Maui sing-along—with a meet-and-greet to be held from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

“The Clayton Night Market is all about gathering, entertainment, and connection,” the post notes. “It's that laid-back, block party feel you are looking for, and it's fun for the whole family. It's also set right next to a kids' playground. The little ones can burn off energy while you kick back and enjoy the evening.”

The Clayton Night Market runs from 5 - 9 p.m on each of its five summer Fridays and is hosted outside the Clayton Community Centre at 7155 187A Street in Clayton Heights. Including tonight, there are five night market dates remaining in 2025: May 30, June 27, July 18, Aug. 15, and Sept. 12.
