No more clothes in our pools, Delta says

DELTA - The Corporation of Delta is implementing a more stringent bathing attire policy for all municipal aquatic centres.

The policy is aimed at ensuring cleanliness of the pools, according to parks and recreation director Ken Kuntz, who said some people prefer to swim fully clothed. While that's not necessarily the issue, there are concerns that some people arrive in clothing that clearly needs washing. Kuntz said facility staff members would now have thediscretion of pointing out to those who want to enter a public pool that they need to be clean first. The same policy applies to anyone who has been running or working out and is still sweating.
